Strathpine is where we are based, so a car removal here is a short trip for us rather than a long one. Our base is on Dixon Street, and we collect from Strathpine and nearby suburbs such as Brendale, Lawnton and Bray Park.
If you have a car you want gone, this is what the process looks like from start to finish, so there are no surprises on the day.
How a removal works
- You send us the details: make, model, year, condition and where the car is parked. Photos help more than anything else.
- We come back with a free, no-obligation offer.
- If you accept, we agree a time that suits you.
- We collect the car. Towing is included at no charge.
- We check your identification and ownership, complete the paperwork with you, and pay on collection.
What to have ready
- Photo identification
- Proof of ownership, such as your registration papers
- Keys, if you have them
- The number plates, if registration is still current. Our guide to returning plates and claiming a rego refund explains what happens to them.
If any of that is missing or you're unsure, ask before the day. It is usually easy to sort out.
Cars that don't run
Cars that no longer start, sit on flat tyres or have been standing for a long time are routine for us. That is a large part of why we collect rather than ask you to bring the car anywhere. If the registration has lapsed, that is fine too. It only means the car can't be driven, and it doesn't have to be.
Not sure it's worth anything
Older and damaged cars often have more value than their owners expect, because the parts and metal still count. The only way to find out is to ask, and a free offer costs you nothing. If it turns out to be a scrap vehicle, see our scrap car page for how that works.
The wider area
Strathpine sits within the area covered by our North Brisbane page, which lists every suburb we cover on the northside.
